"Sooooooooooo big". Im temporarily lacking the picture to accompany that statement, my cord is missing for my camera, but in the meantime, just know that is her new favorite thing to do... It started on Easter Sunday, and now the minute you get out "how big" she throws both arms up in the air with the most giant grin from ear to ear and we finish saying "lilley" and then "soooo big" and she's happy as can be.
At 11 months and 1 week, she's truly getting so big.
~stands alone for several seconds
~has taken a couple accidental steps (but is desperately trying to figure out how to do it again)
~still sleeps 12-13 hours a night
~eats a little less (she's teething big time)
~has 1 1/2 teeth (neither has fully risen yet)
~has decided she's not in to signing much anymore
~says mama, dada, dog ~ she yells a lot- LOVES to hear the sound of her own voice in extremely high pitches
~still LOVES the tv show "SIGNING TIME"
~ LOVES music and loves to dance... we tell her to shake her booty and she does this twisty shake and little bounce. too cute!
~crawls like a wind-up toy... shes quick!
overall she's still such a happy girl, a bit dramatic the last week or so, (we think she's growing more teeth) and has been grouchy, but of course we still love her.
She thinks she's big, and wants so bad to walk and talk, if youre around for any length of time, you can just see the determination in her eyes and the way she studies people. Especially little kids. Our neighbors have a 2 and 4 year old and Lilley plays with them a lot, and she babbles at them while she's playing like she's having a conversation and when they walk somewhere she follows them and always tries to stand up but then eventually just gets on her knees and takes off crawling after them. So fun to watch! :)
As for me and the new baby- STILL dont know for sure what were having. 2 times they said boy, 1 time, and most recently it was a girl, but we can't tell for sure because the ambilical cord has been and still is lodged directly between the baby's legs and we haven't been able to get he or she to move so the cord moves slightly.
Just as i have thought- this baby is going to be super stubborn! :) hahaha. I'm 29 weeks along, so at this point we're not sure we're going to find out. If we do, we'll be sure to pass the news along!
