Spring is in the air... and I LOVE IT!!!!

Frank and I LOVE to be outdoors, and fortunately, we've had the opportunity to enjoy three seasons within about a weeks time. We were fortunate enough to get away to the mountains, and then later in the week take a trip to a beautiful and somewhat secluded beach in Dana Point, and then venture to our own little slice of heaven just out our door at the lake near our house. :) such a beautiful place in which we live! We don't mind hoppin in the car and ending up at the mountains or the beach after just about an hours drive what-so-ever!!!

birthday fun and sunday sun!

this past week has been such a beautiful week, the weather here in so cal has been near perfect and although spring is still five days away, it sure feels like its here!! So needless to say we took FULL advantage of living lake-side and took a full strolls around the lake with buddy and baby belly. I also celebrated my 24th birthday this past week and it was such a fun day. My sweet husband spent the day pamering me including a beautiful breakfast, and romantic dinner followed by our friends and family coming over for some yummy cake and ice cream!

anyways, some of you have already commented on the facebook link, but i thought i'd try it out here also.

anyone care to share their favorite most functional baby gifts? I E... the Diaper genie, does it really work and do you really like it? etc...

also, the lame stuff, the things you wouldn't register for again!! i'd LOOOOOVE your comments!!

OBSESSION!!!!!!!!!

OK, i'll admit it, I am obsessed with a particular brand of baby diaper bags. I stalk them at Nordstrom, I stalk them on their website, I even stalk them when they walk in on the moms at the baby store I work at.

I FINALLY have Frank convinced we should splurge on one, we've been shopping around for them for several months. Sadly however, I think he has me convinced that I don't need the "higher end" version of the bag which is a chenille fabric and dry clean only. :(

While I am wishing away for this bag, I have come to my senses, and have opted for the glazed, wipeable fabric. It is still really cute, not the one i've dreamt of for months, but I will be more then satisfied once I have her in my posession at the end of this week!!

I am finding it rather strange that my obsession with purses has now changed to an obsession with diaper bags, but i am happy to make the switch as long as i can have arm candy as eye pleasing as this! :)

updates...

well, for starters, frank and i do not have the internet at the moment so i feel so disconnected from the rest of the world. if i didn't have a cell phone i wouldn't mind, but not having the internet, ughhh... life is sometimes boring without it!! :)

umm, as for what we've been up to the last month or so...

celebrated our first anniversary
started buying a few things for the little one
adjusted to the 5 plus month of pregnancy, and thats about it!
