Our Dawg House Weekend!!

Our friends the Dowden family invited Sabrina and I to their lake house for the weekend and we had an awesome time! It was my first visit and I was able to learn how to wake board, something I was exited to experience for some time. Sabrina's had the privilege of enjoying the Dawg House for the last four summers so shes got some good experience in wake boarding now and it shows, she can even jump some wakes. I tried some tricks and failed miserably but I still had a great time. As you can see we also had some laughs tubing! Here is a picture of our friends Andrea, Brooke,and then of course Sabrina and I. Greg Dowden is a skilled skipper and definitely knows how to work your trash on a tube! I can't wait till our next invite so I can enhance my newly learned skill so I can outperform Sabrina. Since of course I can't bear loosing to a girl Ha Ha!

It's official... We're bloggers!!!

Well, it's official. The blogging world that everyone I know seems to have ventured in to has now become a part of ours as well. We haven't completely followed suit because we aren't yet married or with children, but someday in the relatively near future that is the plan. As the months pass and we approach the Spring of 2009, I thought it might be fun to share some insight in to the life of the future Velasquez family. As noted on the sidebar of our page, we have been dating for almost 8 months now and have reached the point in our relationship where marriage is the next step... So, sometime around mid Spring we plan to finally tie the knot!! From the time we are engaged to that exciting day, we estimate the passing of approximately 7 and a half months. (We have yet to decide on a day, in fact, we can't seem to agree at all.) So until our blissful day arrives, we'd like to begin sharing our lives with our friends and loved ones and keep the updates coming until then. (atleast for now.) As soon as I can figure out the whole slideshow thing, there will be photos of some of the fun and exciting things we have experienced together thus far.
